2024 March Monthly Quest: Ravenous Rabbit Romp
Their adventures always seem to start off this way. With a mysterious letter written and left in the mailbox. After the last encounter with an oddly excitable deity spirit and one of the founder father’s of Tokotas himself, one would assume to take these letters and simply toss them. Any normal person would, right? Well, the mailbox that the letter found itself in didn't belong to just a simple normal person. Cassandra Thatcher always seemed up for a little adventure. Especially one shrouded in mystery. Her friends? Not so much. A less than enthusiastic red haired youth stood by watching as the young woman packed up her things on the back of her Tokota. Another who was slightly older than them both stood by chuckling at the sight of the two. Strained silence is what Judas would call this. When one person really wanted to say shit while another ignored the tension that filled the surrounding air. “Heh. You two have nothing to worry about, do you? Just stand there waiting till we get

Tokotines 2024 - Planting Dreams
They said the island was a mystery unto itself. People came from all over to see if they could capture a glimpse of whatever ghostly beings or strange occurrences that happened so often here. Some would say it would annoy the locals, but in fact, it is what kept the town near the edge of the island afloat. Tourings, gift shops, and taverns were always experiencing new people every day coming here to seek out some ghostly stories. Getting here was a challenge, however. One that kept most people away. Those brave enough and rich enough to get the best sea captain to take them here happily spent money while they went out to explore the island. Luckily for a certain group, they didn’t need luck or money on their side. Just knowing how the weather would be and who would be willing to take them during those days. “Are you sure this is where we are supposed to be heading? Looks a little… rocky, don’t it?” The question hung in the air as a young woman turned her attention from the Tokota

TCA Rehoming: Story about a Rockstar
Yet another delivery to the TCA had been requested. This time bringing supplies in from a nearby village. Leroy had told her that this was going to be a rather large shipment, so it was best to bring a couple of Tokotas with her. He even offered his own for help, but Cass was fine with just bringing her own along. She had plenty of them at the moment and it would be a good idea to take a few out to do something other than the usual hunts or exploration around the nearby wilderness. Before leaving the house she grabbed the halters of one of her older Dire’s whom she had for a while and a somewhat younger member of the pack. Issu had been with Cass for a long while, but the elderly Dire was in tip-top form still. She could work just as hard as any of the others. Firefly was the other Tokota that had been picked to help out. Once having lived at the TCA herself it seemed fitting. Plus, Cass felt that maybe a few of the workers there would like to see their old friend. Once their tack

“I thought you said Leroy was coming with you? What happened?” The question hung in the air as a red-haired woman leaned against a large black razor mane. There was a rather mischievous smile beaming across her lips as if she had a secret to spill but didn’t want to give it away just yet. “Oh… he’s… tied up at the moment.” Syn giggled softly as she wiggled her finger and winked at the other. Cassandra could only sigh as she sat upon her own Tokota, Jenny, who was all tacked up and ready for a long journey. Beside her, another redhead sat atop another Tokota who while not belonging to any of them had been lent to complete this rather odd mission. Ryan wasn’t happy Syn showed up all by herself. She often turned trips into a rather awkward scene for everyone. He sat upon Zesiro who while not a newcomer to the group seemed to understand why the handler was tense. Syn seemed a bit… loud. Luckily Zesiro didn’t mind so much anymore. He had also taken a slight liking Ryan who had himself

2024 Hunting 1-1 For the Seals
Hunting during the Winter was never the easiest thing. In all the years that Cassandra had been living here it was pretty hard to really hunt down a good meal. Most prey had long since moved on to better feeding grounds whole those that had stayed seemed a bit harder to find. Smaller too. Most of the time those who hunted through-out the year moved from area to area in order to keep the wildlife from going extinct. Hence why the young woman was currently traveling with a large pack of Tokotas toward the nearby beaches. Seals were on the menu. One of the few creatures that stuck around the ocean even when it got colder. “Steady Eclipse.” Placing her hand on the female’s mane, Cassandra pulled the black dotted Tokota to a stop as she glanced back to make sure the others were following. So far they were doing rather well on the trip. Her tawny colored merle female Titania was right behind with Mayo and Celeste after her. The two Miraltas seemed to be sticking together for the most part.

2024 Tokotine: Spread the Love Around
This request he had been sweet-talked into did seem a bit odd for a first ‘date’. With ruby red heart-shaped balloons bobbing from bright pink carts to stalls selling all manner of flowers, chocolate, and stuffed bears it was truly the telltale sign of Tokotine day. People and Tokotas alike enjoyed celebrating with one another whether it be in a friendship kind of way or something a bit more romantic. Galvus wasn’t much of a romantic nor did he care for such things, but his human handler had thought it a nice change of pace to go out and maybe make a new friend. Maybe even find a pretty female he could spend time with. Well, just his luck! His chosen partner for the day just so happened to be that rather pretty female. Upon entering the festival grounds his handler, Riden, greeted the other Tokotas’ handler before the two left to allow the Dires to mingle. A tundra colored Dire stood before him smiling gently which reminded him a lot of a soft spring rainfall. Bedowe or Be as she

Spring had sprung! So the speak. The call went out far and wide for handlers and their Tokota partner’s to help handle a particularly large order that had been placed with the newly renovated Pawlive Gardens. With the celebration of the new year having come to an end, the TCA wished to celebrate in a different kind of thing. The coming of new Tokotas that may yet find homes among the people of the town. It was suppose to be a rather large get together which meant plenty of fruit and veggies would be needed for this party. Sad thing was… well, because of Winter the lack of the vegetation was lackluster to say the least. Hence why the call was needed and that Tokota would have to search the further farmers markets in hopes to find goodies to bring back. This was where Jenny, Zesire and their new friend Greg found themselves. A local market which was suppose to be filled with all sorts of goodies. That morning the three had been awaken rather early only to be told they were going to be

Secret Santa Tribe Story: The Perfect Snowman
It was perfect! Absolutely perfect! Each part had been rolled together and patted ever so softly so that the snow wouldn’t inwardly dent or look dirty. No bumps or lumps could be seen at all. Only the smooth shiny snow that had been so carefully compacted together. The bottom was the largest with the middle being slightly smaller with the head being the smallest of the three. Making a perfect snowman wasn’t an easy task. It took time. It took patience and a lot of know-how. Only those who knew what they were doing could truly make such a specimen as this! Crowley wasn’t one to brag… much. But seeing just how phenomenal this snowman turned out did strike a cord in him. Perhaps he could brag a little. Once he finished of course. “Now… what is left to do ummm…” His amber-glinted gaze traveled up and down the snowman’s frosty body before he took a step back and with a swish of his long elegant tail picked up the top hat that had been sitting on a nearby rock. “Ah yes. A gentleman cannot

Snowfall 2023 - A Crestie Crested Christmas
"Twas the night before Snowfall and all through the stables Not a Toko was stirring not even the pups; The halters were hung by the stall doors with care, In hopes that St. Paws himself would ...." The words died upon the sphinx turned crestie’s lips as the rather fashionable Toki turned her attention toward the pup who had let out a groan of boredom. Before her sat a large grouping of cresties Tokotas that came in every size, shape and color. All there to listen to her tell tales of Snowfall and how Santa Paws himself traveled through the blistering cold made by Borga’s snowstorms. The two who sat in the front were the youngest of the group. Domine and Aster. As pups they had been allowed to stay up late in order to hear the tales that good old Almost(y) was happily sharing with the others. It had been Domine who decided to show her lack of enthusiasm as she interrupted Almost(y) right in the middle of her storytelling. The crestiefied sphinx Toki was currently dressed up in her

Monthly Quest: A Tale of Two Dires?
Festivals and parties seemed to be big things around this time of year. Not that anyone was complaining. Food, fun and festivities were in full swing, but there was also a tenseness in the air that one couldn’t quite understand. At least those who found themselves here for the first time. For the last few weeks news of a couple of Dire’s barging their way through the gatherings and rudely interrupting them had been spread. They did a good amount of damage as well as they knocked tables, chairs, food and even people over in their attempts to have fun. Well, as some called it. Fun wasn’t really the best word to describe what these Dires did. They left a very big mess in their wake and a lot of unhappy people. Hence why Cassandra, Ryan and Riden all found themselves standing in the midst of an ongoing festival. Hearing about the disruption, Cass thought it a perfect job for them. Those running the event seemed eager to even pay them a lump some if they managed to keep the Tokotas away
